Our Vision

We advocate for an active citizenry that can hold those in power to account, and a society in which our constitutionally enshrined Bill of Rights yields tangible benefits for all, especially those living on the margins.

The DDP will endeavour to accomplish its mission by:

• strengthening our multi-party democratic system
• advocating for broader participation in governance and politics
• promoting an inclusive and vibrant civil society
• focusing on awareness-and-capacity building at a local government level
• supporting poor communities in their engagement on service delivery and social transformation
