Dinokeng Scenarios

Lively discussion and debate arose after the Dinokeng Scenarios was presented and this gave participants an opportunity to think critically about the issues they face as well as their role in ensuring change.  The areas discussed opened possible scenarios that could be chosen in relation to crime, education, unemployment and health.   Many of the issues were complex and further debate would be necessary to ensure community members could see their own role in the development of their area.    The eagerness was evident from both the young and the old to get involved in understanding and being part of change in their communities.  The participants came from various neighbouring areas ie. Lost City, Mitchells Plain, Samora Machel as well as Phillipi.
