Dinokeng Scenarios: How it impacts on Service Delivery
27 May 2010, Steenberg Foundation, Steenberg High School -- Cecyl Esau of Institute of Justice and Reconciliation and Richard Hawekwa Pfaff from the Social Change Assistance Trust were speakers at the dialogue.
The level of apathy amongst community members was highlighted and questions were raised as to how this could be changed. The feelings of hopelessness and powerlessness was a huge issue and the question was asked: What is it that we can do to bring about change? Participants included civic representation, community based organisations, school governing body members as well as ward representation.
