The Whitehouse,Khayelitsha, 1 September 2009 - On 1 September , DDP hosted an evening seminar in Khayelitsha on the topic “what is wrong with our education system and what can you do to fix it?”. The speaker was Professor Francis Wilson of UCT.

Seminar: What is wrong with our education system and what can you do to fix it?

About 90 people attended the seminar and participants ranged from learners, parents, members of NGOs, members of school governing bodies and other interest groups . A lively discussion followed Prof Wilson’s presentation with many pertinent points being raised and debated.
