The IEC in partnership with the Democracy Development Programme (DDP) has pleasure in inviting you to attend the proposed Councillor and Civil Society Meeting.
The intention of this intervention is to provide a platform for all stakeholders to address priority issues around the Local Government operation/elections as well as promote community participation. More specifically the forum will examine the challenges and possibilities for councillors in terms of service delivery issues. This is an information sharing session and we envisage that part of the outcomes from this intervention would form part of the special feature in the sighted media as feedback from all participants.
The stakeholders that are targeted comprise of Councillors, Faith Based Organizations, Community Based Organizations and Civil Society.
