ROUNDTABLE: 200 free kilowatt/Hour CAMPAIGN
The DDP holds monthly dialogue sessions in the community of Ward 68 and 72 which now falls under Sub Council 18 and 20. Electritcity price hikes affect almost all individuals and organisations functioning in the two wards.

At our last dialogue session, Eskom – Plunging us into darkness, held in July, it was felt that a really good momentum was gained as electritcity price hikes is an issue affecting almost all individuals and organisations functioning in the two wards. An outcome from this dialogue was that we look at what the communities next steps should be to make community more visible and to ensure their voices are heard.
DDP would like to host a Round Table discussion.
We hope to look at Civics working jointly to launch the above campaign, suggested by the one speaker, Mr Muna Lukanyi from Earthlife Africa for 200 FREE KILOWATT HOURS for every household. He will be at the Round Table to further discuss this campaign and to answer all those queries which might arise during the discussion.
