Choosing our Future - A Guide for Young Leaders
This manual is designed to give youth the chance to talk, think and learn more about their future and their role in society.
There are a number of skills to be gained through this program:
- Explore issues of group and personal identity that give young leaders the confidence to face the future.
- Understand diversity- coping with being different, how you approach the similarities and differences amongst your peers.
- Recognize and stand up against discrimination.
- Understand and exercise your constitutional rights and responsibilities.
- Develop skills for shaping the future with other young people.
The manual is designed for high school learners, members of youth groups, sports clubs faith based or community based organizations. This program is designed for young people who want to share ideas and develop their skills to play an active role in shaping their future and the future of their society.
