In 2007 the DDP partnered with the Association for their Annual Local Government Summit held in the Drakensberg. The discourses and dialogues that took place reiterated the importance of this ongoing partnership.

During 2008,  the DDP will be working with the KZN Chapter on two important projects, namely the ‘Young Managers Forum’ and the ‘Women in Local government initiative’.  As a further strengthening of the partnership, the DDP has offered office space to the Institute within the organization. The ILGM, KZN chapter will now be based at our Durban offices.
