Personal Leadership and Mastery Workshop

29 June -1 July 2010, Umdloti Conference Centre - 20 participants from a range of organisations participated in this 3-day workshop facilitated by Rama Naidu and Anita Simon. The workshop focused to a greater degree on the leaders’ personal development as a leader within the organisation. The methodology used was process oriented and thus the issues that were raised by the participants themselves. Experienced-based learning is a fundamental approach and conversation a key tool used by the facilitators.

Some of the feedback following the workshop:

Ms Ashika Janakk (Office of the Public Protector)

The past 3 days were indeed a time to think, reflect and take steps in trying to make positive changes to ourselves.  Not only in our professional lives,  but for me, also in my personal life.  Thank you and Anita for being so wonderful, courteous, professional, and sensitive to all of us. Sometimes, we all need a slight prod, or a gentle push to ensure that we reaffirm what we have/ know in making ourselves better.

This journey is certainly not easy; but, this is what makes it more challenging, and therefore, exciting. One step at a time, and I will get there!  Thank you both for being there, and giving me the opportunity to be a part of this very powerful workshop.

Justin Foxton (Stop Cime-Say Hello)

Again, my sincerest thanks for having me on the leadership workshop. It was honestly one of the most significant things I have been part of since my return from the UK. The material was fantastic and I thoroughly enjoyed both you and Anita and the other delegates.

Carol Hall (Democratic Alliance)

Please could you convey my thanks to Rama and Anita for a very well run and beneficial leadership course last week.  It was life changing.
