Youth Symposium: “Champions of the Child”

19 June 2009, Cape Town Holocaust Centre - It was attended by about 50 learners from former model C schools, townships schools and one special needs school. The programme focussed on workshopping Children’s Rights with the participants as well as a visit to an exhibition on Janusz Korczak - world - renown as a forefather of the children’s rights movement - as well as an exhibition called “visions and voices, rights and realities” - Children in SA.
